Sophie gartell

 

 

Sophie, although she originally wanted to be a ballerina, chose to do fine art at Camberwell before going on to study illustration at Brighton University.  She is particularly inspired by French picture books.

 

As well as painting at Cosmo Sophie does private commissions (her most recent being an alphabet mural) and is currently working on a children’s book.

 

Sophie loves pink and buying and selling on ebay.  She hates pigeons and her favourite meal is pie and mash from Walworth Road.
