Charlotte firmin

Charlotte is one of Cosmo’s Canterbury artists. She trained at Hornsey and Brighton and began working as a children’s book illustrator aged 23. Charlotte also works in schools holding story-telling workshops and making books as well as working on longer term projects developing creativity and literacy.

Charlotte likes to travel and her hobbies include canoeing, orchid spotting, butterfly hunting and mushroom gathering. Her favourite meal is anything in a beach front café - from a full English at Folkestone harbour to pickled cactus in Mexico.

If Charlotte wasn’t an artist she would be a lady explorer in Persia in the 1930’s.
